HP Pav laptop showing exclamation marks in Device Manager!!?

Hello, my friend's laptop is showing 4 exclamation marks in Device Manager, please see here:

Does this mean the drivers are missing please?

Device manager, view tab, show hidden devices. What is showing there? Might be uninstalled printers or something similar.

I got something like that with a mobile phone connected that wasn't recognised. Can you not uninstall each unidentified device? System restore point first.

Uninstalled peripherals that left some legacy. Once removed from device manager then registry cleared.
