Outlook Express - all messages deleted

Just opened OE to find all it has is todays new messages. Inbox, sent and deleted folders are empty. What is the likely cause and can I restore the missing messages?

System restore is probably the only way to get them back if you do not have a backup system.

you can use system restore to restore emails or there could be a chance that somebody has changed the location of email folder. Just check in the location Tab in Options and find the current location.

Look in recycle bin.

Doubt that system restore will bring back the e-mails as it doesn't restore files.

Which anti-virus are you running? If McAfee see MS support
