desktop problem

After my granddaughter used my pc everything 'on-screen' - log-on icons , toolbar, task bar, web pages/type/icons etc - has doubled in size, although when other users log on they have 'normal' sizes. How can I regain my normal desktop

Right click the middle of the screen and se if you get if you get the choice of what size of icons you want.

it works that way on W/7
