Facebook music query

I've recently added my favourite bands and artists to my Facebook account but since doing so I get a long list of related links when I go on Facebook.

Any idea if there is a way to stop them appearing ?

If not then I'll delete them from my profile.

I have had a quick search through my account settings but I couldn't see anything relevant there.

Examples below:

Cheers.

Are you using a secure setting, https FB

Don't think it will make a difference but you never know.

Hi rdave13, yes I am as I read in an article that you are less likely to get your Facebook account hacked !

Apparently there's a lot of people having their passwords changed by a hacker and then you can't log in to your Facebook account.

This is the second time that I've tried it (the last time was last year) and the same thing happened and so I deleted all the entries and back then I wasn't using a HTTPS login.

I only use it to play Bejeweled against my sisters and family (fail miserably to get even a decent score) but Facebook's security is a tad dire I think. Try another social networking site.

I know I'll just delete all the music entries I've added again - oh well.

I get more of these 'bogus' entries than legitimate entries !

Thanks anyway.

They are for advertising and information. You have shown an interest by "Liking" or adding them to your account so if enough people click on the links, somebody somewhere will get a penny or two.

If you hover over the link/advert top r/h corner, you might find a white x in a grey box appears. Click this and you will be asked to confirm deletion and you might even get a multi-choice survey as to why you are deleting the advert.

That might help stop them whilst you retain your interest in the group.
