best brower for laptop running Windows XP Service Pack 3 ?

I am currently using Firefox 6, but wonder whether this is the best browser for me. I don't use games, just e-mail and web surfing. By the way I only have a broadband speed availibility of 1 MB.

Google Chrome, not as feature rich as some browsers but still worth a look ...alBenter link description here

Maxthon 3 is fast. Ad blocks built in I like it. Give it a look see. http://www.maxthon.com/mx3/index.htm

Thank you guys.

I'll have a look at both of those. Better stability would be good, since I get quite a lot of freezes and crashes with Firefox.
