Improving Wi-Fi... (Don't know if this works??)

Folks,

I've just chanced upon this piece of advice;

Improve Wi-Fi recpetion

I've no idea if it works... I suspect it may improve it in one direction, and degrade it in another... and there may be an issue with heat.

However, on the basis that it might help, you might want to give it a read.

My gut reaction is that if it did woork then suitable devices would either be on teh market, or already built in!

Anyway,

Regards,

Simsy

These sort of devices do work. I live 200yds from our local library which has free wi-fi and am able to connect using a wi-fi dongle mounted inside a metal canister from a catering pack of beans, 4.5in dia x 7in long. I get no connection without the can. The dimensions required can be calculated from formula available on several web sites.
