Printing PDF freeze

PDF files cannot be printed because the computer freezes Vista Ultimate SP2 Celeron (R) 2.2GHz 2GB memory 64 bit system

How long have you waited? I get the concessional very long wait before a pdf prints and in the meantime cannot do anything else.
