Outlook calendar reminders duplicating

Using Outlook 2007 and suddenly the calendar reminders are showing up in duplicate. i.e. whrn a reminder of an event comes up there are two reminders showing where there should only be one. Any ideas out there as to wht?

I've not come across this unless there are duplicate entries but clean reminders should work see MS Switches

Woolwell Good on yer sport. "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\Outlook.exe" /Cleanreminders

That did it!!
