windows 7 upgrade

i had a packard bell desktop pc i had upgraded it from windows vista to windows 7 but unfotunetly it has died on me including the hard drive i have managed to pick up a cheap e machines pc from ebay witch i plan to upgrade hardware ect.i have a legal upgrade edition of windows 7 from previos pc what i want to know will i be able to install my copy of windows 7 on my new pc or will i have to buy a new copy

If it is a legal copy and will only be installed on the one machine then go ahead.
