Printer leaving stripe on photos

My Canon Pixma MP830 is leaving a faint pink stripe, less than a cm wide, on the right hand side of all photographs.

The cleaning & deep cleaning functions have been carried out to no avail.

Has anyone any idea what it could be?

Print head possibly needs replacing.

OR faulty Ink Cartridge ?
