My desktop pc has suddenly started to take an age to start. When switched on the splash screen appears for 1 minute and then the screen goes black. The curser is the only thing showing in the top left corner and it remains like this for at least 3 minutesd before it goes to the welcome screen. The only thing I have done recently is to upgrade Kaspewrsky. Any Ideas would be greatly appreciateded. I an running weindows 7

Upgrade Kaspersky.

If it was running ok before that, Use the kaspersky removal tool.

Remove Kaspersky then reinstall it.

Maybe have a look at this.
