Integrated web cam won't switch on

Don't know why. Please help. It used to be good to be able to use the web cam again!

Windows 7 Medion S5612 notebook

I can see all of the old snap shots I've taken before using the web cam.

Don't know how it's become disabled/switched off.

How do I put this right.

Thank you for reading this.

Kind Regards ~ Caris

Does it show up in Device Manager? Right Click Computer on Desktop, Select Properties, Device Manager, Imaging Devices.

Fn+F6 turns the web cam on /off

if that doesn't work look in device manager to see if there are any red or yellow marks against the web cam drivers.

hi Guys,

Thank you for your quick responses.

Fn F6 seems to have done the trick.

Off to do a restart.

Thank you again.

Kind Regards ~ Caris
