Laptop starting by itself

Just need to lift the lid and it starts. It has definitely been shut down properly, not set to sleep etc. Running Win7HP

Only recent change is that I fitted a new keyboard two weeks ago, but don't see how this could cause it.

Grateful for any ideas

Could be a stuck key or keys or a mix of a Fn key Fn ESC = Sleep etc.
