Remove XP from dual boot PC

Months ago I bought a Samsung NC10 netbook that came with XP. I then partitioned the HDD and installed Windows 7 on the new drive D to make it dual boot.
Now that I rarely use XP I'd like to remove it and leave Windows 7 on its own.
I'd really appreciate advice on the best way to do this without damaging the present installation of Win7 if possible.
