Cant go back to a restore date!!

Hi all, Everytime I try to go back to a restore date I get a message saying restore not complete. Any ideas please.

Usually because one of the restore points is corrupted you could try it in safe mode

Boot up the computer, as it boots continually hit f8, this will get you into safe mode. Use system restore from safe mode.

Another known problem with System Restore is caused by Kaspersky Antivirus. You must disable it before restoring. I changed to Norton last year because of that.

I've also had this problem caused by a different antivirus program. The antivirus detects low level changes to your system that are the result of System Restore and blocks them. As with ams4127, disabling the antivirus program allowed System Restore to complete.
