what is this error massage about google it no help Sidebyside error in event viewer. windows xp home

Description;- Generate Activation Context failed for C:\Program Files\NETGEAR\PS121v2\MFC80.DLL. Reference error message: The operation completed successfully

if you had a laptop on standby, it may generate this error when you restart laptop. as its linked to netgear either dongle or router, i would say your router. I get them on my Laptop and Netbook after restarting from Standby or Hibernate

Don`t ask me why it works but in my case it fixed the side by side error download and install this "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86" from here
