Hi all,
This used to work fine but lately plug it in and all I get is a quick glow on the stick and then nothing. It will even go through the motions of tuning. This is not a reception issue. I cannot re-install as it requires the original cd which is home many miles away. Any suggestions?

Drivers should be held in the driver cache
If you look in device manager and check the properties for the device it will list the drivers you can then make a copy of these driver files to a new folder
Then
Unplug all USB devices

Download and run
Uninstall ALL devices that are shown as not connected.
Reboot the machine.
Plug in your USB device and windows should then find new hardware and reinstall the drivers for the device.
If it needs the drivers (unlikely as they should be in the driver cache) you can then point windows to your new folder.

The link above appears not to work due to the forum sites inability to deal with italics in an address,
here is the link again.

Thank You Fruit Bat /\0/\ tried that but it still only lights up briefly. I am guessing I will have to wait a while and re-install when I have the CD,
