Can't "Restore" Win XP

I have recently updated drivers, and it seems that something has not worked properly. So, I tried to go back with Restore, but now I can't restore further back than today! When I updated the drivers, each update requested a restore point which I ticked 'yes' to, but obviously something has gone wrong and I can't start again! The Windows 'Restore' program seems frozen on today's date! Can anyone help, please? geedad

In device manager click on the devices you installed new drivers for,
,right click select Properties - driver tab - Roll back driver

And with regards to Restore, its now corrupt and needs turning off then back on and create a new restore point. All your old points are gone, so you will have to do the above
