what is difference between DDR PC2700 and PC2700S Memory and can they be mixed

From what I can see , the S stands for Sodim ( small outline dual inline memory module ) One of them , can't remember which off hand , has a slightly faster Cas level ( 2 v 2.5 ) but in real terms you wouldn't notice the difference

you can only fit sodim into a laptop as far as i am aware. unless its a very old laptop

Yes SODIMM memory is for Laptops, what I want to know is: what is difference between DDR PC2700 and PC2700S [SODIMM] Memory and can they be mixed

If they are both Laptop Memory Sodim, I do not think there is any difference. Its just that the S is Mark For Sodim

think you will find both are same speed 333MHz
