Viewing programs

In WinXP how can I view all the programs (I have put so many in) when I press start, "All programs". It does not scroll across the 3 columns

Trying to think now,i believe you can set the options to scroll,so it does not show column pages but scrolls up and down all installed apps.I think you right click the task bar to set the options.
