Converting from WAV to MP3

I have a number of files in .WAV format.I would like to convert these to MP3 so that I can put them on disc and play them on my home entertainment system. Is there an easy way to do this on my comp system or will I have to download software? (my comp system :vista multi media sytem). Ant help most welcomed. Rivington.

You dont need to convert first just tell the software you have to create an AUDIO CD windows player should do it if not get a better one Freee like Dep burner just choose creat audio cd when asked and then add the mp3 tracks http://www.deepburner.com/?r=products
Make sure you chhose the free version

You can do trhis in iTunes (free). My sound card also has a converter.
