I burnt 2 songs onto a cd and onto a dvd but they will not play on a normal cd player. What do I have to do so that I can play them on a cd player?

DVD will not play on a CD player. Your CD Player may only play wave files not MP3. Wave files are a lot bigger in size and you cannot get as many on a CD

As said re not playing on a dvd player but neither do .Wav files in a sens.e CD players cant read wave. You need to create an Audio cd not a data cd which you did with mp3 .

As suggested, you should ideally burn the songs as an Audio CD.
Some CD players will play MP3, but the disk must be "closed" or "finalised" after burning, otherwise it can only be read by a CD-RW drive (i.e. a PC's rewriter drive, not a CD player).

Just to had to the above, if you put the disc in your DVD player with MP3 on it and turn on TV and player it may just play through the TV most do
