Google Chrome problem with websites.

Just recently Chrome seems to be having trouble connecting to websites consistently. It will work O.K. for a while and the I will get "Error 137 (net::ERRNAMERESOLUTION_FAILED): Unknown error." or "Website moved". Clicking again on the link usually results in it connecting the second time, but not always. It all seems fairly random as it does not happen on the same sites all the time nor at certain times of the day. I was speaking to my son earlier today and he also is complaining of a similar problem. We don't use the same ISP so we think we can rule that one out. It is almost as if Chrome posts the error message if the response is not immediate from the site, a change in 'timeout' possibly? Is anyone else experiencing this? Has anyone found a solution? Son has reverted to IE as he is also fed up with FF in it's latest incarnation though I'm O.K. as I still have 3.6.18.

Looking at this problem on the net it may help to clear the browser cache.

Found this - Use clear browsing data from option and only select "Empty the cache"

Woolwell

I have now done that and will wait to see if it does clear the problem. I can't duplicate the problem and it seems entirely random which makes it a bit more difficult to diagnose.

Well an hour of surfing with lots of different websites seems to be O.K. so I have marked it as resolved.
