i have a asus netbook 1005na when i turn the netbook on the bios f1 set up or f2 resume page comes up

when i do get to the desk top the date the date has reverted to 31/12/2001

the battery has gone flat previously

any advise please

it needs taking back as the battery should last years, its got a fault on the motherboard. needs doing under warranty. if you say it not covered, then it should be covered under not fit for purpose close 75 in consumer protection act can be up to six years
