LibreOffice and macros

Folks,
Though I use Excel, I've been using OpenOffice for ages for letters and docs, etc because I prefer it to "Word"...
Now that LibreOffice has appeared I'm trying it and am delighted to see that it appears to run my MS Office macros, something that OpenOffice didn't...
However, as a learning process I thought I'd record a macro on LibreOffice Calc, (the spreadsheet component), and look at the code...
But the option to record a macro is greued out?
Any suggestions as to why?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Simsy
ps... I'll not be back to check for a while!

Obviously....
"greued" should be "greyed" !
(and I should have added that this is in Ubuntu 10.10... haven't tried it in Windows yet!)

I found the answer, here; http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php?topic=87974.0
Apparently macro recording isn't confirmed as fully stable yet, so it's still regarded as "experimental"
Hope it helps someone!
