Microsoft are basically behave like thieves. I got my auto renewal notice for Hotrmail Plus this morning, tried cancel to get a refund on same day as renewal. They cancelled service without refund and immediately removed all Plus features even they have charged my credit card and will not refund. Tried to reinstate, figure if a can't get my money back may as well keep for the year. No apparent way to reinstate and no way to contact Microsoft. Any ideas?

Some time back I too tried to stop the paid for version of Hotmail. I still needed my account but didn't want to pay for something they were now giving free..... space ! I tried hard to find out where I needed to go to cancel,. without success.
Eventually my credit card expired and I thought that would solve the renewal problem but no..... M$ took the renewal subscription from my replacement card !
I contacted my card providor and explained the situation to them. They arranged a call back of funds and contacted M$ on my behalf to cancel the subscription.
