August DVD System Mechanic 10.0

I am attempting to install the above from the magazine DVD but my Kaspersky security keeps rejecting attempts by the installation procedure to get latest updates from the web stating that it has detected HEUR Trojan. Am I supposed to tell Kaspersky to ignore this - if so, how? Or can it be that there is indeed an infection on the cover disc?

Now as the FE has not answered the first post I take it that it must have been a false positive.

Just wondered if anyone else me be having problems with it.

Once again maybe notify the FE just to be in the safe side.

You need to turn your antivirus off or set it to “allow”. This is common practice when installing with an antivirus.

Please note: Most antivirus scanners will not allow competitive software to be installed, or they’ll give a warning that bad things might happen if you install/run an alternativ piece of software.

PC Advisor can confirm that iolo software is 100% malware free!
