acquiring web pages needs two goes

I seem to have acquired a problem with access to web pages. Frequently, but not always, when I click on a site or a new page within a site, all I get is 'awaiting response' if I go back to the previous page ( or out of the site then back in again) It all works first time.

Could this be a problem with IE9.?

Dell inspiron 530s, 4 gig mem, twin 1tb hdds, duel core processor.

Try going to comand prompt and typing in ipconfig /flushdns and press enter on the keyboard.

It should tell you that the DNS cache has been flushed,If so reboot and see if it makes any difference.
