photos & captions.

When ever I try to copy photos from one drive to another, the photos copy OK, but I loose all the captions associated with each photograph.

Has anyone any ideas how I might get over this? or do I have to re-enter the caption info again??

What software are you using the put captions on to the photos. It should save the photos as *.jpg and the caption should be included, unless there is a problem? David

Thanks for the reply.

I have been using Picasa3 and Windows Live Photo and neither seem to allow me to copy the captions. All photos are saved as jpg.

I have just tested again using a different set of photos and "yes" the caption does copy over as well.

maybe I will need to pop the camera card back into my comp and start a fresh.
