How is Firefox 5's memory usage for you?

I ask because it's pretty terrible for me. I'm trying it out on one of my PCs (XP) and it can steadily creep up even while doing nothing with one open tab and no extensions. It can easily take more than 250MB (25% of my total RAM) in this basic state. If I switch back to 3.6, that never gets much above 180MB, even with add-ons and a few tabs.

So what is your experience of it so far?
