been hit by a Hacker

We had a short holiday in France staying with friends. When we returned home I found my Visa Card Blocked & it was used twice without my knowledge. I never used my Visa Card while in France & never out of my sight. I did have my Laptop with me but not connected to the Internet. There was a Dongle on my Laptop, once when I used my Laptop to download photos I had taken there was a blue screen & my laptop closed down.

Is it possible I could have been hit by a Hacker?

Whether you were hacked or not I hope that you have cancelled that card by informing your Credit Card company about your details being stolen.
