pc only boots up with 1 of 2 ram modules installed

I have just had a new built pc and to start off it kept freezing and i also had a couple of blue screen error messages. I have taken one of the ram modules out and it now boots up but it boots up with either one, but not both together. I have also tested the motherbaord by trying to boot up without any of the ram modules in and it beeped on and off continuosly. here ends my knowledge on what to do next any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks Martin

Take it back to who built it, let them sort it.
