I downloaded IE8 earlier, now I have the above (maybe a coincidence. Its stopping me using internet on my PC (now using different PC), and tells me I have Trojan BNK.Win32.keylogger.gen.. I am a bit stuck, dont know what to do next. Any advice much appreciated, thank you.

I have the same problem, the message box says that I need to click "yes to activate vista security 2012" the rest of the screen is black. there is also an option to "...continue unprotected" presumably clicking this is no use? I was going to follow the instructions to remove files from the registry but how do I proceed from the screen I have now? I have tried to run spybot which is installed but the virus just sends up another warning box that it is blocking it for my proection.

Press

Ctrl + Alt + Delt ---- task manager Processes tab

Stop the following XP Internet Security 2012 processes:

[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe

You can then follow the rest of the rePair or run spybot / malwarebytes
