Google how do I remove on Firefox

When I load up Firefox it shows Google search bar across the screen which annoys me,how do I remove it.

Google Toolbar Options. Layout. You have options to try.

You could set your home page to ISP home page, or any other page but blank then the large Google bar wont appear.

That's what I was trying to find out Bremner but Prince Midas says he has a blank home page. I've just realised Prince may be running Firefox 4 and I'm still on Firefox 3 so may be some differences.
