Can't open emails

I can get into my Hotmail Inbox on my laptop but can't open individual mails. However, I have no problems on my Desktop. Desktop is hard wired to router, laptop is wireless. Desktop running XPHome while Laptop is Windows 7 No settings have been changed on the laptop but obviously something has happened. Anyone got any ideas whats going on and how to solve it so I can open mail on Laptop?
