I have lost the search box on Windows 7.

Any advice please.

Check if it has been turned off by going to Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on or off in the left pane and scroll down to the Search.

Got it.....Looked under Windows search and the problem solved. Have just learned that the clever dick next door had been playing with this rig...lesson learnt
