Advent Q200 Webcam Present or Hiding?

I have an Advent 200 Laptop which has a built in webcam according to the specs. and there is a little oval window at the top of this screen. I also know that the Function key (fn) plus f7 toggles the camera on and off. However the Webcam does not show up on the hardware Device Manager list and I'm also assuming that an appropriate driver is required. I've tried it on Skype but no joy, no picture. Specs definitely quote a 1.3MP webcam so how do I get it working? Any help appreciatd on this one - seen lots of waffle on this one on other forums but nobody has come up with an answer - yet.
