printing problems

I have windows 7 and a brother dcp 375 cw printer.Wireless. When i have internet problems and have to switch off to reboot, it causes the printer to show status off line. Although it isnt and there is a green tick to show printer ready. I cant figure how to get it on line, and 'use printer off line' is not ticked. (niether is pause) Help Janet

turn printer off then back on for router to pic it back up

I have switched everything off and on but but it still says off line my printer icon is grey but with a green tick. the printer lcd shows '100% normal'.
