flash memory how fast for video

getting a camcorder which uses SD memory need advise how fast should it be

I wouldn't consider getting a card that's any slower than 30 MB/s.

Class 10 SD Check if it will run off SDHC and the size limit of the camera. they nearly all have one

You don`t specify which camcorder you are getting. General opinion is that most, if not all, will accept SDHC cards, and I see that Panasonic will certainly take a 16Gb card.

A fast Class 10 would be the best choice. Here is an example:

16Gb SDHC class 10
