Hubby has a Medion laptop model E 6212, but cannot find how to enable the webcam, the literature does not say how to switch it on, there is a pic of a camera on F9 key we have tried different key combinations but have not been successful in turning it on. Does anyone know the correct combo please.

I believe that laptop comes with built-in software for the webcam, namely Cyberlink You Cam , does that not explain how to work the camera? Also but this is just a guess, you might need to press the Fn key at the same time as pressing F9.

Or, if you install Skype, you can then go to Skype>Tools>Options>Video Settings and check that your webcam is shown where it says 'Select webcam', you should also be able to see yourself on screen at this point.

Thanks all,
The software Cyberlink You Cam plus Fn and F9 did the trick, there is no desktop icon. Sorted Thanks all.
