Message on Startup

Every time I start my PC a window pops up with the following message.

'Cannot open File C:\Program Files\Asus\EPU-4\Engine\Resource\gear.png'.

I have windows 7.

Does anyone know what this is and how i can cure it or get rid of it. Kind Regards

I suggest that you do a System Restore back to before this message appeared, if the message then still appears try running your Security programs like AVG, Malwarebytes etc.

Go to run type in the box MSCONFIG press enter, go to startup tab look for the Item that is EPU-4\Engine and or this in it gear.png and remove the tick from the box, looks like you have a Asus Motherboard in the Computer, and this is part of a software program for it. when you reboot it will have a box saying things have been altered put a tick in the little box then close it
