Hi all... Does anyone know how to remove the "view" button from the explorer menu bar as our students can still access the C: drive via the GoTo option in the view menu on the menu bar? I have managed to get rid of the Up Arrow browse button with a registry hack I came across that works well, except I still have this GoTo option in the view menu that does the same thing so really I am back to square one, as I don't think it will take the little cherubs too long to work it out

Hi there Frit Bat... I need to keep at least the file menu on the menu bar as our students have no right click function, so need this in order to save their work in some programs. What I find hard to believe... well actually no I don't, is that Microsoft have provided no way of removing these browse buttons and links via group policy!! Unless you remove the whole menu bar! Like I said previously, I found a registry hack to get rid of buttons but it still leaves the GoTo links in the "view" menu on the menu bar which totally defeats the point of removing said buttons.... ARGHHHHH!! Thanks for your input though.
Regards ZL
