Slave laptop hard drive to pc

Hi i am having problems with a dell latitude laptop with a blue screen page fault in non paged area. I cannot boot at all even in safe mode.

I'd like to retrieve my data but cannot work out how to connect to my pc. its a sata hard drive i've worked out how to connect data lead from motherboard to hard drive. but how do i connect power cannot find any lead coming from pcu that is small enough

A 2.5 laptop drive has a combination power and data lead connection you need some form of adaptor to connect to your mother board something like this

It would be better to connect using a sata to USB case like third one down here £6.99
