Pc and Ipod question

Hi all, when I connect my Ipod touch to my Pc it doesn't show up in "my computer" as a storage device. I'm sure I read somwhere that this can be done. Does anyone know how to do this please. I'm using Windows 7. Thanks for any help.

An iPod Touch will not be seen as an external drive as it is very different from a normal ipod.

You can use 3rd party apps to transfer files. This is not a recommendation just one from a google Click here
