I've received this request to re-enable my LastPass password. Is this genuine? - i.e. is it safe to click on the link(s) provided? I may be being over-cautious, but ...

LastPass had a probable security breach a few weeks ago,so sending requests to their customer base to re-enable may be genuine. Maybe you could write an e-mail to their support? team to verify. I personally stopped using this program when problems ensued with the master password.

daz60: thank you. Wise suggestion. In fact, after reading a few blogs, I decided it would be safe enough to go ahead anyway, which I did after making sure my security apps were right up-to-date. All seemed to have gone OK.
