Laptop problem

I have a problem with my laptop. Every time I close the lid not switch it off just close the lid and open it again all the short cuts on my desk top have been rearranged also when I sign into a web site and windows asks me if I want it to remember me and I tick yes every time I come back I have'to sign in again.Anyone any ideas what this could be. Cheers in advance.

Have a look at your power options in your specific OS and laptop. You should be able to define your preference to what happens when you close the lid.

If you have the cache set to be cleared on exit of your browser or windows shutdown you will need to sign in again.

"Remember me" just allows a cookie to be placed in your cache you need to set your bowser to retain the certain cookies you need for sites
