please help.i can't restart or shutdown windows vista

hi everyone

please i need your help.

I have dual boot operating system(windows vista,and windows7)

on windows vista,it is working normally except i can't(restart or shutdown).

If i want to restart or shutdown,i have to switch the pc off from the case,that start it again.

Windows update is up to date graphic card is up to date all the software is up to date

Kindly can you please tell me how to solve this problem

Think you need to reconfigure the BOOT LOADERsee here

Or use MSCONFIG From Run, to do a Diagnostic Startup shut-down in Vista
