gaming laptop need help

Just wanted to know if this would be a good laptop for games for my son . Don't know alot about laptop The price is £699... It seems a very good gaming laptop but you do not mention what sort of games your son is into.

Just the lastest games sure as call of duty and racing i can remember all there names, but mostly first person shooter type and he likes F1 and shift i think you call it, but could be wrong..was going to buy him a desktop pc, but he wants a laptop...kids these days are hard to please, Would this laptop play all the lastest games,or would i have to upgrade it in a year or so, because £699 is alot of money for a laptop. Thanks for your help
