Since updating to the New Internet Explorer my PC is taking double the time to load (5-6)Minutes. With the help of Tuneup Utilities 2011 I have removed unwanted files, programmes etc. As anyone any further suggestions?I run Vista Home Premium & I have Norton 2011 Protection Thank you Kind regards

To uninstall IE9 go to control panel, programs, programs and features then select View installed updates on the left panel. Scroll down to IE9 and uninstall. After reboot, you should be back to IE8.

You now have 2 threads running on the same subject.

I run Vista Home Premium and have not found that IE9 slows it down. How much RAM do you have?

To revert back to IE8 - Go to Control Panel - Programs - Uninstall a Program then on the left side click on "View installed updates". Wait for the window to populate then look under Microsoft Windows for Internet Explorer 9. Highlight it and then click on uninstall. The system should put you back to IE8. I've done it twice without a snag. Suggest though that you create a system restore point first.
