Is the clock in the "notification area" at the right of the taskbar showing the correct date, because the gadget is just displaying (or should be displaying) the same detail?

If it only stopped displaying properly today, but has been installed for a while, you could try running System Restore in case it is a registry entry that has become corrupted.

mgmcc,Thanks for the input but have tried that, anyway its not an important factor as microsoft states it only a desktop gadget. But if I do find a solution I will definitly get to you all. Thanks once again.d.
